Therapy is about learning to take control of your life!
Jaimie T Barnett's focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. She achieves this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan.
Life is like one big puzzle, working piece by piece, always getting closer to the finished product. Jaimie's goal is to help you grow from struggles, heal from pain and move forward to where you want to be in your life.
Jaimie's experience enables her to offer effective outpatient, individualized, psychotherapeutic approaches, specifically tailored to each individual, on a case-by case basis. She treats a number of mental health issues and provides a safe, neutral environment that caters to individuals, adolescents, families and couples. Her role as a therapist is to be non-judgmental and provide a safe place for her clients to open up and share their life experiences.
Depression, fear and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that most of us experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, Jaimie will help you change perspective and increase the joy and motivation that might be missing in your life.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic events that trigger emotions of anxiety, fear and hopelessness. Jaimie can help you overcome these feelings and work with you to feel free from past traumatic experiences. She sees you as the survivor that you are!
Counseling can be beneficial to couples who are in all stages of their relationship. Let’s be honest, there are ups and downs in any relationship. It’s how you deal with the downs that define your relationship and either make it stronger or make you realize it just isn’t the one for you. Therapy sessions are held with both partners present and is a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions. Jaimie does not choose sides. She takes a neutral approach to guide you towards exploring the inner dynamics of your relationship!
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
Note: Beginning January 1, 2022, the No Surprises Act (H.R. 133) will go into effect.
Most psychotherapy clients receive regular and recurring services. It may be difficult to estimate the total length of treatment to achieve initial goals. Additionally, client goals may change during treatment. With that in mind, a Good Faith Estimate may be provided for recurring services provided within a 12 month period (e.g. the cost of weekly sessions for a year). A new estimate can be provided for additional services beyond
